Fall Beauty Trends to Try

Our Beauty Advisors have eagerly been awaiting the start of fall to share with you the trendiest looks of the season, which graced the Fall/Winter 2015 runways earlier this year. Here are their go-to products and tips for re-creating these hot new make-up looks:

  1. Glittery Ice Queen Lashes

Your peepers are going to be the hit of every party with this trend from the runway of Carolina Herrera! Apply a touch of Annabelle Glitterama Liquid Eyeliner in Milky Way to the tips of your eyelashes for a sparkly accent that will give you a glamorous “frosted lashes” look. ($8.99 at LondonDrugs.com)

  1. Strobing

Don’t let that beautiful glow grow dull in the fall & winter months! Strobing is used similar to contouring, but only using a highlighter. Start with an overall glow by adding L’Oreal’s Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer ($17.99 at LondonDrugs.com) to your foundation, and then use the NYX Illuminator in Ritualistic ($10.99 at LondonDrugs.com) as your highlighter. Apply to the bottom centre of your forehead, down the nose, across the top of your cheekbones, under your brow bones, above your cupid’s bow, and your chin.

  1. Vampy Lips

Deep, dramatic shades of lip gloss and lipstick are must-haves for this fall – and we’re not just talking about a slightly deeper nude, we’re talking about dark, vampy shades that will draw all eyes to your pout. Not sure which shade to try? Our Beauty Advisors recommend the NYX Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen ($9.99 at LondonDrugs.com) or any of the NYX Simply Vamp Lip Creams! ($8.99 at LondonDrugs.com)

  1. Artistic, Graphic Liner

At first it was the ever-classic cat-eye, but now a new kind of graphic liner is popping up on runways, and it’s far more daring than the last! Think top and bottom cat-eyes, broken lines, and angular strokes. Our Beauty Advisors suggest the easy-to-use NYX Super Skinny Eye Marker ($11.99 at LondonDrugs.com) to create multiple fine lines or graphic patterns, and the Prestige Make-Up Eraser Pen ($12.99 at LondonDrugs.com) for touch-ups and precise lines.
