New Games for July

Another month, another set of new games. The sun is out now which means we don’t have too many games coming your way but the good news is that the three we have are all great! Let’s take a closer look.

Rocket League Collector’s Edition

The long awaited Collectors edition of Rocket League is here! The soccer-by-way-of-rocket-powered cars game has all the crazy 8 player action and fully customizable cars you love, and includes three DLC packs (Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run), exclusive first access to 4 all new vehicles, and an art print!

Rocket League Collector’s Edition will arrive on July 5th for Windows, XBOX One, and PlayStation 4. You can pre-order your copy at or pick it up in store!

We ain’t afraid of no ghosts! Join the Ghostbusters in a new 4 player co-op game to catch ghosts all over New York! The story is set immediately after the upcoming movie starring Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy. Ghostbusters will be out on July 12th, 3 days before the new movie debuts, and you can answer the call on XBOX One and PlayStation 4. Pre-order your copy today!

Monster Hunter Generations

Monster Hunter Generations is finally here! The immensely popular Japanese game lands on the 3DS in July. As in previous games you embark on quests to hunt monsters, and hunting monsters allows you to collect the items and materials you need to fight bigger, more powerful monsters. There are 14 weapon types to choose from, each with their own forms and play styles, as well as whole new set of special attacks to choose. Plus, if you have a save game from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate you can use that to unlock a new set of armor in Monster Hunter Generations!

Monster Hunter Generations will be released on July 15th. Pre-order it here!

Steam cards

Did you know we also carry Steam prepaid cards? Steam has all the latest releases, plus many classic titles and a thriving indie game selection, and seasonal sales (including the Steam Summer Sale on now) where you can buy your favourite games for pennies on the dollar! Steam cards are available in $20, $50, and $100 in the computer department of your local London Drugs.

That’s all we have for July! Have yourselves a great month of gaming and we’ll see you in August!
