Donations still being accepted at all London Drugs stores
In less than one week, London Drugs customers have donated over $23,000 towards the Red Cross Typhoon Haiyan Fund through cashier tills at all of our 77 store locations. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our customers for rallying to help the Philippines recover from one of the most powerful storms on record.
The donations go directly to the Canadian Red Cross recovery program. They are currently setting up a field hospital which is expected to be operational by Wednesday. In addition, they will be working to provide the most urgent needs including emergency medical assistance, clean drinking water and food.
The federal government will match each dollar Canadians donate to registered charities, including the Red Cross Typhoon Haiyan Fund.
