The Holiday Season is coming! That means a lot of new games are coming out in November! Let’s take a closer look!
November 3rd
Anno 2205 is the latest entry in the long running and critically acclaimed strategy series. Once again moving into the future you must conquer the Earth and mine the moon for resources while maintaining a working society!
Anno 2205 will be available for PC but not any consoles.
Need for Speed is back with its 21st, yes you read that correctly: twenty first, entry in the series. This new game is a reboot of the series. EA has pledged that they are taking a the things that made the previous games great, in particular need for Speed: Underground and incorporating them into this new title. They’ve also confirmed that it will require an online connection to play which has been met with some criticism however they claim the gameplay benefits will outweigh the cost. They’ve also confirmed that add on content will be released in the form of free but mandatory game updates rather than paid downloadable content.
Need for Speed will be available on PlayStation 4 and XBOX One.
You can file this one under “finally”. Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void is the third part in the Blizzard’s Starcraft 2 trilogy which started back in 2010. We’ve played as the Terrans and we’ve played as the Zerg, now it’s time to take control of the Protoss. Raynor and Kerrigan will return in supporting roles but you will take control of Artanis, High Templar of the Protoss, as you work to unite the various Protoss tribes into a single, unified force!
There will also be a collectors edition of the game which will include a number of unloackable in game items such as a pet and a mount for your character, and a special pack of Hearthstone cards for players of that game, as well as a special features DVD, soundtrack CD, and hardcover edition of the Starcraft Field Manual. if that’s not enough, collectors edition will also unlock a special character for players of Heroes of the Storm, another Blizzard game.
Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void will be available on Windows.

November 6th
Black Ops 3 is the latest in the Call of Duty Franchise. If it seems like there are a lot of games coming out that are sequels, well, you’re right. This one takes place 40 years after Black Ops 2 in a dystopian future. Air combat has been rendered useless and the government has developed super soldiers as a response. I could say more but there isn’t that much to say. You’re a super soldier and you have to fight the bad guys, what else do you need to know??
The game has an all star cast featuring Christopher Meloni, Katee Sackoff, Jeff Goldblum, Ron Perlman, and many more.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Will be released for Windows, PlayStation 4, and XBOX One. There will also be a feature limited version for PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360 which will include only the multiplayer portion of the game.

November 10th
Fallout is one of the most critically acclaimed game series of all time and Fallout 4 will be the fifth major installment in the series. Building on the success of Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Fallout 4 will take place in Boston years after the nuclear disaster which destroyed the world.
Familiar elements of the series will return such as V.A.T.S. targetting and the SPECIAL character design system, familiar retro-future aesthetics, powe armour, and more. There are some cool new features like customizing weapons, layering armour, and the ability to build your own settlement and have it populated by NPCs.
There is a lot to explore in the presumably huge open world and you’ll once again have Dogmeat by your side. Don’t worry though, Dogmeat won’t be able to die this time around.
Fallout 4 will be available for Windows, PlayStation 4, and XBOX One, and there will be a special edition Xbox One 1TB Fallout 4 Bundle as well which will include a full download of Fallout 3.
Lara Croft is back! Rise of the Tomb Raider serves as a sequel to 2013’s Tomb Raider. The Events of that story have been covered up by a secret organization and Lara has set out to investigate other myths around the world to prove she’s not insane.
There will be an increased emphasis on stealth attacks with additional weapons and methods for executing them, as well as a more detailed crafting system to customize your weapons. Additionally, Lara can swim again, which is just nice.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available for XBOX 360 and XBOX One. PlayStation 4 and Windows versions will follow next year.

The ever popular Sims franchise is getting another expansion with even more for your sim to see and do! Get Together introduces Windenburg, European inspired city with ruins and monuments to see, clubs to party at, clubs to join, and all sorts of group activities. As the title implies each of these are designed to get your sims out of the house with their friends because hey, at least one of you has to get out of the house!

November 17th
Deadpool is one of Marvel’s most unique comic book characters, known for being hilarious and breaking the fourth wall to speak directly to readers. In 2013 he finally got his own game which was hilarious and completely over the top with mayhem and action. It was fun and hilarious and captured the spirit of the comic book, and now it has been remastered for the shiny new consoles.
Deadpool will be re-released for PlayStation 4 and XBOX One.
Star Wars: Battlefront has been in a beta test for a short time now and the consensus is that it’s a lot of fun! Live out your favorite battles from Star Wars and fight against or alongside your favorite characters like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader! Fight on the ground, in vehicles, or in the sky in X-Wings and Tie Fighters!
This game is a must-have for any Star Wars fan! There will also be a deluxe edition which will unlock Han Solo’s blaster as well as other weapons for the player!
Star Wars: Battlefront will be available for Windows, PlayStation 4, and XBOX One, and here are two trailers just in case you don’t believe me when I say how fun it looks.

The Crew should satisfy your craving for a free roaming racing game! Race across the United States in a variety of vehicles and in a number of race types, proving your mettle the entire way. You can play alone, or with friends, or join an online co-op matchmaking session! There’s even a tie in app for iOS and Android to build cars!
The Crew: Run Wild will be available for PlayStation 4 and XBOX One.
November 19th
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate arrived on consoles last month and now comes to Windows! Be sure to grab the Gold Edition of the game which includes the season pass for all the DLC!
