London Drugs Donates $20,000 to BC Learning Disabilities Association

On Friday February 4, 2011 London Drugs presented a donation of $20,000 to the Learning Disabilities Association. The $20,000 was raised from the sale of specially designed key chains at London Drugs locations across British Columbia. The funds will go towards continued specialized remedial tutoring for children and youth with learning disabilities between the ages of 5 to 17. Association programs include: remedial reading and writing, remedial math, social skills development, youth skills development, and Orton Gillingham tutoring. In attendance at the presentation were (left to right) Dave Woogman, London Drugs Store Manager, Annette Stark. London Drugs Retail Operations Supervisor, Diane Sugars, Learning Disabilities Association Executive Director, and Dolly Wilson, London Drugs Retail Operations Coordinator.
