London Drugs is proud to announce the return of the Aboriginal Partnership Bursary Program. As a strong family-based company, London Drugs believes in promoting education while also providing individuals with the opportunity to seek further learning. In support of the educational programs, London Drugs will be accepting applications for the Aboriginal Partnership Bursary Program from now until June 15, 2015.
$500 bursaries will be awarded to a total of 6 first year students in the Westbank, Duncan and Campbell River areas. Students must be 25 and under and enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time student in a program with a minimum length of 9 weeks. To apply, students must send a reference letter by a community group leader, coach or teacher that demonstrates why the applicant should receive a bursary. Applications must be residents of British Columbia and part of the following communities:
- Westbank First Nation
- Cowichan Tribes
- Wei Wai Kum, Homalco
- Kwiakah, Klahoose
- North Island Metis
- Mamalilikulla-Qweqwasotem Band
- Tlowitsis Tribe
- We Wai Kai Nation
