It’s a whole new year which means a whole new crop of video games! This month we see a bunch of new entries in series we love along with some awesome new visions!
January 19th
Resident Evil: Origins
Resident Evil fans rejoice! Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 have been remastered and packaged together on one disk for your next generation console in Resident Evil: Origins! You can play in either the original 4:3 aspect ration or the shiny new 16:9, with completely updated graphics and audio.
In case that’s not enough, you can also play Resident Evil 0 in Wesker Mode. Play as series villain Albert Wesker, get a whole new perspective on the story and play with a bunch of fun new powers!
Life is Strange
Life is Strange is finally available in one collected edition! You play as Max, a young girl who discovers she can rewind time and learns that she must save her town from an impending disaster. Choices you make in the story may have short term and long term effects so be careful! Oh, and bring a box of tissues for when you get to the ending!
The Limited Edition also includes an art book, the soundtrack, the score, and commentary from the game’s director.

Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam
The Paper Mario universe has spilled over into the Mushroom Kingdom and in order to set things up Mario and Luigi must team up with Paper Mario to defeat Bowser and Paper Bowser in order to rescue Princess Peach! Yeah, it sounds ridiculous when you say it out loud but these games are a ton of fun for all ages, and feature a unique set of puzzles and quests to complete!

Lego Marvel’s Avengers
You love Lego and The Avengers, now they’re together in one game! Lego Marvel’s Avengers follows the plot of smash hit movies The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, as well as Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Retold in the classic lego style and humor with dialogue taken straight from the films! That’s not all though, characters from marvel comics (including Kamala Khan and Speed) are set to appear among the more than 200 playable characters!!
