Batman: Arkham Knight

batman

Release Date: June 23rd
Platforms: PC, XBOX One, PlayStation 4

The fourth installment in the Arkham series picks up one year after the events of 2011’s Arkham City in which Batman faces off against Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight, a new villain created especially for the game.  Fans of the acclaimed series will see improvements to the free flowing combat system including the ability to quickly switch between Batman, Nightwing, Robin, and Catwoman for varied combat and increased bonuses.  Arkham Knight also brings the batmobile into the fray as a drivable vehicle.

The game will focus on stealth, combat, and Batman’s investigative skills.  If you’ve played any of the Arkham series before you why this one is hotly anticipated, and if you haven’t played any of the Arkham games before this is a good place to start (but seriously, they’re all good so you should check them out).

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward

finalfantasy

Release Date: June 23rd
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4

The first major expansion to the massively multiplayer Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is going to shake things up a bit.  We can’t talk about the plot because of spoilers but players will see a new level cap (level 60!), a new playable race, a bunch of new jobs, skills, and primals.  On top of all that there will be a slew of new areas to play in including the floating landmasses of the Sea of Clouds. New stories will start with the add on as well.

June is a big month with these 4 big titles being released!  The challenge now will be to play them all before July, and a whole new slate of releases, comes around!!  We’ll see you then!
