You can meet twelve-time UFC welterweight champion and three-time Sportsnet Canadian Athlete of the Year Georges St-Pierre (25-2 MMA) in person this Sunday, July 10. The event takes place inside London Drugs at 710 Granville Street in Vancouver from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. But it will be best to line up early.
“Rush” will be there to promote his GSP Series supplement line, which will soon be available at London Drugs stores. Because it’s from GSP, a longtime proponent of clean athletic performance, you know it will be good.
Canadian artists Witek Radomski and Carrie Wong will visit a number of our stores during their Canadian book tour.
We are so excited to have Witek Radomski and Carrie Wong, the creators of both Legendary Landscapes & Legendary Worlds Adult Colouring Books, coming to our stores to meet with our customers.
“At some point I thought of the idea: why don’t we make an adult colouring book that features the beautiful landscapes and cityscapes of Canada and have all sorts of imaginary landscapes,” Wong said.
“Most of the other colouring books are more abstract, but there weren’t really any colouring books that featured landscapes,” Radomski added. “You never see Canada. We love hiking together, and we always see all these awesome landscapes. It was a really cool opportunity to make a book.”
Wong & Radomski will be signing books and offering live drawing sessions at all locations listed below. Come on by and say hi!

MSI Canada and London Drugs are joining forces again to bring you the third MSI Canada Dragon Cup Hearthstone Tournament!
Based on Blizzard Entertainment’s world famous multimedia franchise Warcraft, Hearthstone is a fast paced card game where you pit your heroes against your opponents in battle. It’s deceptively simple, which makes it an easy game to play but a difficult game to master.
This year the tournament will be held over two days, with the early rounds taking place on Saturday April 9th and the quarter finals, semi finals, and finals on Sunday April 10th.
The winner of the competition will see $500 cash and an MSI GTX 960 2G graphics card. Additionally, the winner will qualify to compete in the Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo Hearthstone Tournament in Toronto at the end of April, a chance to compete for a share of the $10,000 prize pool!
Wait, there’s more! London Drugs will be supplying the top three Canadian players in MSI Dragon Cup V3 with $500, $300, and $200 respectively to spend at LondonDrugs.com!
The tournament will once again be streamed online by Twitch user coL_noxios, be sure to tune in to his stream as plenty of swag and prizes will be given away to viewers in Canada and the US! You can also follow along on social media with the hashtag #MSIDragonCup3.

London Drugs is partnering with the Lethbridge Regional Police Service, Airdrie RCMP, and Red Deer RCMP to help prevent fraud and prescription drug abuse within communities.
Prescription Drug Round-ups & Hard Drive Wiping / Recycling events are being held in Lethbridge, Airdrie and Red Deer on May 24th.
Prescription Drug Round-up
Along with local police forces, London Drugs is hosting a Prescription Drug Round-up in response to the growing concern regarding prescription drug abuse among teens in Alberta communities. It was recently reported that almost as many as 1 in 4 who use these drugs daily obtained their prescription drugs from friends or relatives. The Prescription Drug Round-up event aims to decrease the amount of expired or unused prescription drugs in households, where too often teens are finding access to these potentially dangerous drugs. Drop off unused or expired prescription medications in store for safe disposal.
Hard Drive Wiping
Your computer stores valuable personal data, which can be very tempting to those involved in identity theft. When recycling your old computer at London Drugs, your hard drives are cleaned and destroyed so that your information is no longer accessible to thieves. Customers are invited to drop off old hard drives for data destruction and responsible recycling.
Individuals can drop off their expired or unused prescriptions and hard drives at the following London Drugs locations and times below:
#109 – 2004 – 50 Ave.
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
#110 – 905 First Ave. South

London Drugs and the Lethbridge Regional Police Service will also be accepting food and cash donations on behalf of the Lethbridge and Interfaith Food Banks.
#110 – 2781 Main St. SW
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
London Drugs and the Airdrie RCMP will also be accepting food and cash donations on behalf of the Airdrie Food Bank.
One man’s plight inspires over five million people to improve their health and reboot their lives!
For nearly a decade, Australian business man Joe Cross battled with debilitating autoimmune disease symptoms, suffered from high blood pressure, high cholesterol and pre-diabetic conditions until embarking on a holistic mission to rid himself of medication and “reboot” his life. For 60 days, Joe set-off on a medically supervised juicing cleanse that helped him shed more than 80 pounds, freed him of medication dependency and inspired millions of people through his film, Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead, to follow his lead and Reboot their own lives.
For a third year in a row, London Drugs is proud to support Canadian initiative Five Hole For Food (FHFF) in its goal to raise 250,000 pounds of food for local food banks across the country, its largest target to-date. The coast-to-coast road hockey tour began yesterday and London Drugs stores and staff will participate in the Winnipeg, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria, and Vancouver games.
This year, London Drugs customers can contribute in a number of ways. Local food bank bins have been set up at participating London Drugs stores to collect donations. Special pricing on a variety of food categories is being offered to increase donations. As well, the popular “Will Play Hockey for Food” t-shirts are back. Available for $20 each, all proceeds benefit Canada’s food banks.
Once again London Drugs is participating in the Telus Walk to Cure diabetes.
Over 300,000 Canadians are living with type 1 (juvenile) diabetes. For most, type 1 diabetes begins in childhood, resulting in a lifetime of multiple daily injections, frequent blood tests and strict dietary management. You may have a family member, friend, or co-worker with type 1 diabetes. If you do, you know the impact of this silent and ever present disease, which shadows these children’s lives.
JDRF is a leading provider of research funding toward a cure for Diabetes. As part of our customer’s health care team, we feel strongly that a cure is possible and we want to do everything we can and partner with JDRF and our customers to find that cure.
